John Gates and Bill Goodell: Singer/Songwriter duo Gates and Goodell play their original acoustic songs in a style they call "West Coast Folk Rock" they perform live in pubs restaurants and coffee houses all around Ventura, Santa Barbara and areas of the California coast. Gates and Goodell met at a Jimmy Messina songwriter workshop in 2002 both had been writing and performing for years and upon meeting they discovered that there styles and tastes were complimentary to each other. Coolest Guy in Santa Barbara: Vince Chafin is a good friend of mine who plays the Native American Indian flute. He is also a great Bass player and Singer/Songwriter. He really is the "Coolest Guy" in town!
